Bioids^[2][1] are humanoid robots with blank DNA. An army of them served Vilgax, and helped him (temporarily) achieve his original goal of having an army of Omnitrix aliens at his command.

Appearance

Bioids have a blank, spherical face and an almost completely white body. They have a red 'U' shape on the front and back of their torsos, and red patches on their groins; elbows; knees; and ankle joints.

Behavior

Bioids have some amount of personality, as they are aware of Ben's aliens' names and shout them when becoming them, just as Ben would.^[3][1] They are capable of intimidation, as seen when they endlessly chanted "Humungousaur" at Albedo while fighting him.^[1] They also cheered when Vilgax finally received the Omnitrix.^[3]

Bioids have a degree of self-preservation, as an alert from the Omnitrix's self-destruct countdown made the Bioids hesitate to destroy Ben.^[1]

Powers and Abilities

Despite being robots, Bioids have (or mimic) enough genetic substance that can allow for them to receive input from the Omnitrix and transform into aliens, just as any Omnitrix user would. Because of this, they can forgo many of the typical requirements to transform, such as needing to have the Omnitrix attached to them, and simply receive the Omnitrix's signal remotely.

Vilgax took advantage of this by syncing all of his Bioids to the Omnitrix, which allowed him to select an alien and instantly transform his entire army into that selected alien.^[4][1]

Groups of Bioids can be made to synchronize their movements for the purposes of efficiency; compliance; and intimidation.^[3][1]

Weaknesses

Since Vilgax's Bioids were synced to the Omnitrix, they became inert when the Omnitrix got destroyed, hence no longer being a threat.^[1]

If Bioids transformed into Alien X, they would be frozen in place and do nothing.^{[DJW 1]}

Trivia

• Vilgax uses the Bioids for the same reason he uses his Crewmen and Mechadroids, because no one else would dare work with him out of fear.^{[pop-up 1][5][pop-up 2][DVD 1]}
• Though these Bioids were Vilgax's first attempt at realizing his goal of an Omnitrix army, they were succeeded by Vilgax's second attempt in the form of evil Ben Tennysons from alternate timelines in And Then There Were None.
