Lee Hwa-si (이화시), previously known under the stage name Hayun (하윤) and currently under the online alias Dalha (달하), is a South Korean actress and internet personality under PI Corporation. She is a former member of the girl groups DATE and Brave Girls.
Career
2014–2015: Debut with DATE
Hayun debuted in 'trainee girl group project' duo DATE (formerly known as SUTY) in 2014, following the departure of one of the previous members. The duo separated in July 2015.[1]
2016–2019: Brave Girls
On February 2, 2016, it was announced that Brave Girls would be returning as a seven-member group after a two year hiatus. She, alongside Minyoung, Yujeong, Eunji, and Yuna were added as new members.[2]
Hayun made her official debut as a member on February 16, 2016 with the group's third digital single "Deepened".
On August 11, 2018, Brave Entertainment announced that Hayun would be sitting out of the group's activities due to health reasons.[3] In an March 2019 interview with Brave Brothers, it was revealed that Hayun was no longer part of Brave Girls after they were reorganized into a four-member group.[4]
2019–present: Content creation on social media, Acting debut
Hayun opened a TikTok account in 2019 and earned a big following there with her viral videos, some featuring make-up and dancing. In October, she also opened a make-up focused YouTube channel.
In 2020, Hayun opened the 'Running Hayun' (달려라하유니) channel on Twitch and started broadcasting content. In November 2020, she signed with digital entertainment company Sandbox Network.[5]
In April 2022, she made her acting debut in the stage plays Love is timing and Charter Reversal at the Youth Theater in Seoul.[6][7]
In 2024, she made her film acting debut in the film City of Cain.[8] The film was released in South Korea on December 4, 2024.[9]
Personal life
In May 2021, following the viral success of "Rollin'", Hayun revealed in an Instagram post that the reason she left Brave Girls was because she had been diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism. Activities as an idol had worsened her condition, and both she and Brave Entertainment had concluded it would be difficult for her to continue with the group. She also clarified that her condition improved following her retirement as an idol and receiving further treatment.[10]
