Halloween is an autumn/fall holiday traditionally celebrated on October 31st. The celebration has featured in multiple stories and media featuring Batman.
Comics
- Batman #237 - Features the Vermont Halloween parade, with Batman and Robin in attendance.
- Legends of the Dark Knight - The series released an annual Halloween special three years in a row.
- Batman: The Long Halloween - Features in the first and last issues of the story. The inciting murder of Johnny Viti takes place on the holiday, as does the final ones of Carmine Falcone and Vernon Fields.
- Batman '89 #1 - The initial Shadows storyarc takes place around Halloween, decorative accoutrements can be seen in the amalgamation of Gotham Plaza/Gotham Square in the first issue.
Live-Action
- Batman Forever - The third act of the film features Halloween at Wayne Manor, with the Riddler and Two-Face posing as Trick-or-Treaters to infiltrate the home.
- The Batman - The film begins on the Halloween of Batman's second year, with the first murder by Riddler taking place on the holiday.
Animation
- The Batman (TV series) - The episode Grundy's Night is set on Halloween, with Batman battling Clayface who was posing as Solomon Grundy.
- Batman: The Brave and the Bold - The cold opening of Trials of the Demon! features Batman and the Golden Age Flash confronting Scarecrow and Scream Queen, who were sending out Jack-O-Lanterns laced with Scarecrow's fear gas.
- Batman: The Long Halloween (film) - The animated movie based on the comic series of the same name was set on Halloween at the beginning with Johnny Viti's death and at the end with Carmine Falcone's death and Two-Face's arrest.
Video Games
- Batman: Arkham Knight - The games' events take during the build-up to Halloween, with various buildings and locations decorated with audients similar to the holiday.
