Mai (麻衣, Mai) is a fictional character from anime series of Baki the Grappler. She is a student from Baki Hanma and Kozue Matsumoto's school. Mai appears only in the anime series.
Personality
She's one of Baki Hanma and Kozue Matsumoto's classmates and presumed to be Kozue's best friend. Mai often jokes about how Baki and Kozue act like a married couple, much to Kozue's annoyance and embarrassment. She seems to be a very energetic and cheerful person. Mai also proves to be highly caring. When Kozue is kidnapped by some school thugs, she rushes off to talk to the police about it, and then, very upset, tells Baki about the whole situation.
Appearance
She is a girl of average height with dark blonde hair that is probably just dyed due to the fact that she is Japanese. Mai wears her hair up in two ponytails and has not been shown in any other hairstyle. What stands her out is that she has a fairly dark skin complexion and light brown eyes. She is only shown in her school uniform and it is unknown how she dresses in her daily life.
