Backhand Blow (バックハンドブロー, Bakkuhando Burō) is a mixed martial arts fighting move.
Description
Yuujirou Hanma first used this technique against Koushou Shinogi, but missed due to Koushou barely dodging the attack. Later, in the third anime series, Yuujirou used this move again in his fight with Ryuukou Yanagi nearly killing him and destroying half of his jaw and knocking out most of his teeth. Baki Hanma also used this technique against Sikorsky, but missed due to Sikorsky dodging the attack. Kaiou Jaku tried to use this technique in his fight against Kaiou Retsu, but the Chinese fighter managed to block it with ease. In the fourth manga series, Kaosu Iwanami used the Backhand Blow in his match with Reihou, but it turns out to be ineffective against him.
