V-22, aka the Lodge, was a large testing facility owned and operated by the Venture Corporation on the planet Jericho 3.
Venture's focus at V-22 was on the development of new and improved space colonization technology, which they intended to be the number one supplier of, outcompeting all other competitors, including the almighty Weyland-Yutani.
Overview
The Lodge was comprised of five dome-shaped buildings, four of which were arranged in a diamond pattern around the centralized R&D facility.

Each building was connected by enclosed corridors, through which people could walk or ride self-driving, battery powered electric vehicles, each of which could be sealed off in case of a catastrophic event.
Venture employed 573 people and 13 synthetics at V-22 while it's network was overseen by a rudimentary AI with limited self-awareness.
The Lodge was built in a gray, lifeless and relatively flat, making it easy to navigate. There was a prototype colony located to the northeast of the Lodge. To the west was a larger crater created by a meteorite impact millennia ago, and to the north was a small mountain range.
The weather in this area of Jericho 3 is milder than other parts of the planet. The surface temperature on Jericho 3 averaged around 32 degrees Fahrenheit. The Lodge was always on the cold side and It took a significant amount of energy to heat a facility this large.
Following an incident with a Necromorph, Venture had the Lodge closed down and its staff reassigned. However, several months later the company dispatched a survey crew to the abandoned facility with a plan to renovate it as a fueling station. During their investigation, two members of the team discover an Egg created by the Necromorph during its rampage.
