Tom Moran was a crewmember of the New Albion trading vessel Victory. Moran and his colleagues were dispatched to LV-187 to claim a French oil drlling outpost for New Albion following that world's secession from the Three World Empire; after encountering a Xenomorph outbreak that killed his crew, Moran managed to escape the facility with several survivors; however, he was fatally shot by Colonial Marine Barrington Jones.
