Terry LaBan (born July 19, 1961) is an American comic book writer, cartoonist and newspaper comic strip artist who wrote the comic Predator: Blood on Two-Witch Mesa for Dark Horse Comics.
Biography
LaBan has been active in the comics field as an alternative/underground cartoonist since 1986, having worked prominently thereafter with Fantagraphic Books Dark Horse and DC Comics on numerous projects, and elsewhere.
Perhaps most notable of Laban's works are his own alternative series Cud Comics, his time as the first writer on the Sandman spin-off series The Dreaming for DC, and as a writer on Grendel Tales for Dark Horse.
LaBan's comics, cartoons, and humorous illustrations have appeared in a vast number of magazines and anthologies over the years, including Blab, Mad magazine, Nickelodeon Magazine and Details. He also drew the syndicated comic strip Edge City for King Feature's Syndicate.
In Europe, LaBan is known for his work on books featuring the Disney characters for Egmont.
