Sector 106 was a sector proximal to the Weyland-Yutani Corporation colony ship USCSS Covenant when the vessel reverted from hyperspace to recharge in December 2104. The shockwave from a stellar event occurring in Sector 106 subsequently struck the Covenant, damaging it.
