Popov

Popov was a member of the Iron Bears.

Biography

On September 21, 2230, Popov accompanied Dunya, Serge, and Becker to the Zeta Site on LV-1201 to retrieve The Artifact. As Dunya, Serge and Becker entered the Engineer ruins, Popov remained with the APC in case they needed immediate evac[1]. After Dunya returned from the ruins with the Artifact, Popov turned on the transponder in the APC to allow her to find him, after which he brought her back to the Forward Observation Pods[2]. When Xenomorphs attacked Pod 5, Popov protected Rykov along with Ivan, and later escaped unharmed[3].

  • Although Popov survives the events of Primal Hunt, he does not appear in Aliens versus Predator 2. A similar-looking Iron Bear named Chekov does appear. Chekov is also mentioned in Primal Hunt but does not appear there.
