The Poachers or Rival Clan were a Clan of Yautja encountered in Aliens versus Predator: Extinction.
Information
Called Poachers before the truth was revealed, the Rivals were a group of Bad Bloods that went head-to-head with the Ancient's Succesors. However, it is later revealed they were intentionally pitted against the clan for the spot as the Council of Ancients' successors and had also be granted exclusive hunting rights to planet LV-742. Eyeing the two clans are possible successors, the Ancients wanted to see which of them was the strongest.
Affecting more monochrome colors and led by a Disc Master, the "Poachers" were a powerful and esteemed clan, but one of their members was captured and experimented upon by Dr. Kadinsky, leading to the Predalien Queen. The fate of the Clan is unknown, though the incident likely lost them some standing. It is even possible they were banished, since they failed to prevail against the succesors and their clan brother's failure resulted in the abomination against their species.
