Mother Ma'Kayla was a synthetic and a member of the Xenomorph–worshiping cult known as the Children of the Two Divines. In 2186, during cult activities in the Far Spinward Colonies, Ma'Kayla came into conflict with an expedition from the United Nations Interstellar Settlement Corps' Great Mother Mission.
