Duke was a member of the United States Colonial Marine Corps. He was part of a search and rescue mission sent to LV-426 aboard the USS Sephora in 2179 to investigate the disappearance of the USS Sulaco and its crew 17 weeks earlier. He was killed by Xenomorph Drones in Hadley's Hope.
Biography
Duke was one of the Marines who survived the destruction of the Sephora and Sulaco, making it safely to LV-426. He later fought Xenomorphs alongside Angie Duplis and Clark inside the Hadley's Hope Operations center. When Corporal Winter arrived, he assisted the three Marines in fending off a Xenomorph attack in what was left of Operations. Duke was ultimately killed alongside Clark by corrosive injuries.
Equipment
was outfitted with standard-issue M3 Pattern Personal Armor and an M10 Pattern Ballistic Helmet, which he decorated with an eye decal, for protection; his armor was fitted with a TNR Shoulder Lamp attachment for illumination. He also carried several spare rounds strapped to his combat vest. He had several pouches on the waist around his belt. He also had a pouch on the left side of his left leg armor. Duke carried an M41A Pulse Rifle MK2 and an M4A3 Service Pistol.
Trivia
- Duke will very rarely survive the attack but since he is never seen again, it can be assumed that he is supposed to die.
- Duke reuses Maio's head model.
