Clytemnestra was a desert moon orbiting the celestial object Thestia in the United Americas Pollux System on the Frontier. Prior to 2179, Clytemnestra was the location of a Weyland-Yutani Corporation laboratory researching a volatile chemical sourced from kite-like lifeforms that occupied the skies of the moon. At some point, the United States Colonial Marine Corps were drafted in to capture one of the creatures.
