Chris Scalf is an American digital painter, illustrator, comic book and storyboard artist who provided cover art for the comic Aliens: Pig for Dark Horse Comics.
Switching to the medium of digital painting in recent years, Scalf has also worked on numerous covers for Dark Horse's Star Wars and Godzilla comics lines. He has also done storyboard and concept artwork for major motion pictures. He particularly focuses on fantasy art featuring dragons and other monsters.
Most recently, Scalf has provided cover and interior artwork to Dark Horse's currently ongoing Star Wars miniseries, Star Wars: Blood Ties - A Tale of Jango and Boba Fett.
