Blaser R93

The Blaser R93 is a German-made bolt-action sniper rifle chambered for a wide variety of cartridges.

Overview

The R93 design includes a removable magazine, barrel and bolt head that allows the rifle to be quickly switched to different calibers using the same chassis. A sporting version with a wooden stock and frame is also available.

Notable Users

Isabelle carried a Blaser R93 LRS2 fitted with an ELCAN Optical Technologies DigitalHunter scope as her primary weapon.

Behind the Scenes

In the Predators shooting script, Isabelle is said to carry a Heckler & Koch PSG1 rather than a Blaser. In reality, neither is correct for an Israel Defense Forces sniper. Realistically, she should be carrying an M24 Sniper Weapon System or an H-S Precision Pro Series 2000 HTR to name just two of several possible weapons.^[1]
