The koalaotter[1] is a furry, aquatic mammal native to the North Pole and the surrounding Northern Sea.[1][2]
Anatomy
The koalaotter has rounded, furry ears, a black nose, and small, black eyes. It is capable of standing on its hind legs when on land. Its tail is about the same length as its body. The koalaotter's back and head are light gray, while its underbelly, chest, eye markings, inner ears, and tail stripes are white.[1][3]
Behavior
The koalaotter enjoys backstroking through the icy waters of the Northern Water Tribe and the surrounding area of the North Pole.[2] They are skillful swimmers and very social animals.[4] Despite their cute appearance,[1] they will sometimes bite humans.[3]
Connection
The face of the koalaotter strongly resembles that of the koala, a marsupial native to Australia. The rest of the koalaotter's body closely resembles the sea otter, though the principal connection to the sea otter seems to be the creature's preference for the backstroke and its playful demeanor.
