Neuron is a special task force formed by the Ark police to combat the Chimeras that are attacking the city, and save humankind from a potentially world-ending threat. In one squad, they are five members, including the protagonist and their twin sibling.

History

After the dimensional gates appeared, bringing the Chimera invasion to the Ark, the Ark police find themselves unable to compete with the invaders. In response to the threat, they created a new police unit known as Neuron, to face the creatures head-on.^[1][2]

• The name "Neuron" comes from Neurons, also known as nerve cells, which are cells that carry electrical impulses and send signals across the body and within the brain, an allusion to the fact that the Legionis is connected to the Legion as if it were a body part.
