An Alliance marine (マリントルーパー Marintoruupaa?, "Marine Trooper") is a profession in Tales of Legendia.
Description
An Alliance marine is a person who works to protect the coasts from monsters and criminals alike. It is a dangerous profession, requiring strong skills with a ship, personal strength to deal with threats, and phenomenal swimming skills. They can be identified at a glance by a crest. Senel Coolidge is an Alliance marine, and his crest is tattooed on his face.

- In the localization of Tales of Legendia, Will Raynard refers to them as the "Marines of the Holy Alliance".
- In Tales of Arise, one of the fishing rods is called the Alliance Marine Rod. Its description reads "An advanced rod designed by a naval guardsman that's coveted by fisherman the world over."
