"The Needle" is an old foe of the Seven Soldiers of Victory.
Biography
The Needle was one of the villains who fought Stripesy, Star-Spangled Kid, and the Seven Soldiers of Victory but was eventually arrested. After his release, The Needle found love, married, and lived happily with his wife until she passed away. Later, The Needle went to look for Pat Dugan at The Pit Stop, and upon finding out from Zeek that he's not in town, he said that he'll take care of it himself. In Yellowstone National Park, he came to see Pat to thank him, because despite years in jail, he is finally at peace.
The Needle then said goodbye and while on his way to his car to leave, he was surprised by Magog, who came to offer a proposal for him. The Needle declined the invitation, which angered Magog. The Needle then threw some of his needles at Magog to no avail. Magog insisted on the proposal and revealed that coming from the future, he would get eternal life, and said he imagined a beautiful world without heroes. The Needle said that none of this matters because he doesn't want to be evil anymore. Finally, Magog allowed the Needle go, as he just needed a sample of his needles so he could replicate his abilities.[1]
The Needle's clone would fight alongside Magog on Earth-Prime against its heroes, where he was attacked by Batwoman. However, he was eventually defeated.[2]
