Parsons

Reverend Parsons is a resident of Salem.

Biography

A villager accused Jane Hawthorne of being a witch. Jane sweared that she had done no harm, but the town elder Reverend Parsons arrested her and promised to have her hung if she was found guilty of witchcraft. Jane's daughter, Prudence, tried to go to her, but the villages hold her back. Crows flew down and attacked the villagers, and the villagers accused Jane of controlling them.

At the trial, Parsons showed the people Jane's birthmark and claims that it's the mark of the Devil. He poked it with a pin to show that it won't bleed, and Zari Tomaz secretly blasted him back and then knocked the Bible out of his hands. She levitated him into the air, and the guards knocked Jane out. Zari said that Jane didn't do anything, and told the villagers that Parsons was trying to convince them to kill their neighbors. Zari removed the air from their lungs when they tried to stop her, but she saw the villagers staring in horror and stopped. The guards grabbed her and took the Air Totem, and Parsons said that both "witches" must burn.

The villagers prepared to burn Zari and Jane. Zari said that no one deserves to burn, while Parsons believed that she's was more dangerous than any witch they've faced and tossed the Air Totem onto the wood. Sara Lance arrived and ordered the guards to let Zari and Jane go or she'll kill Parsons. Parsons wasn't impressed, and Sara knocked him out and then fought the guards. They managed to grab her and a villager put the lights on the pyre.

Prudence arrived and the Fairy Godmother froze everyone. The girl ordered Fairy Godmother to free Zari and Jane from the pyre, and Jane fainted. Godmother asked what they'll do about Parsons, and Prudence said that she wanted him to burn. Parsons appeared in the pyre.

Zari told Prudence that she's a good person, not a killer. Prudence told about all the villagers that killed other women, and Fairy Godmother said that the villagers will continue killing. She asked Zari if the hearts of men change in her future, and Zari admits that they don't. Zari in turn told Prudence that she has to be better than the monsters. Godmother convinced Prudence to be stronger and think of her mother, and Zari asked Prudence what Jane would want her to do. Prudence released Fairy Godmother, and with her spells broken Constantine arrived with his mouth restored.
