"Paranoid Android" is the eighth and midseason premiere episode of the seventh season of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, and the one-hundred-fifth episode overall. It aired on January 12, 2022.

Synopsis

Sara starts to realize her team is making questionable choices when it comes to the timeline. Trying to figure out who is behind everything, Sara discovers some harsh truths.[src]

• The episode title is a reference to the character Marvin the Paranoid Android from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series or the Radiohead song named after the character.
• This episode contains an opening monlogue, which hasn't been featured since Season 3.
• John Cena, who plays Peacemaker, is mentioned by two kids, who mistook Robot Nate for such, in the stinger right before the children comically proceeded to hit him with a bat and then repeatedly off-screen.
• The android Gary can be understood by the rest of the androids; something Gideon took into account since Necrians can't speak English.

Goofs

• When showing the original Legends files, a photo of Zari Tomaz is shown instead of a photo of Zari Tarazi.
  • It's possible Zari was programmed after both versions.
