Max Mercury was a man that was chosen to be a speedster by the Flash.
Biography
At some point, Mercury was getting ready to return home on his motorcycle at the same time Barry Allen, also known as the Flash, used his powers to select new speedsters, with Max being one of the chosen ones, stopping to see the lightning bolt that would grant him his powers.[1]
