Known letters
Kryptonese has a distinct set of characters for writing, known as the Kryptonian alphabet. The alphabet consists of at least 26 characters, with each one corresponding to one of the 26 letters of the English language. Other variations contain letters that correspond to sounds, punctuation or suffixes, among other additions to words. [4][5]

Behind the scenes
- In the DC Extended Universe, the House of El family coat of arms is not "el mayarah" (stronger together) but rather the symbol for hope, mistaken by humans as the letter "S" (some variations have the kryptonese S to look extremely similar to that symbol).
Trivia
- During Lex Luthor's trial, he was seen to write a few letters in Kryptonese. It has been decoded (with some gaps) into "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy".
