Creation
After Frost died, Caitlin Snow and Mark Blaine attempted to resurrect her through Caitlin using a consciousness resurrection machine, but it malfunctioned and this new personality came out instead.[2] Later, she met Barry Allen at S.T.A.R. Labs,[3] naming herself as Snow. When Hartley Rathaway showed up at the labs after being attacked by the new Fiddler, Snow befriended him. Eventually, she was ultimately convinced by Hartley to not give up her existence, renaming herself Khione after the greek goddess of Snow, and apparently leaving both Caitlin and Frost dead.[4]
After rescuing Mark from Red Death's lair, Barry brought him to S.T.A.R. Labs, where Mark was in the Med Lab being looked after by Khione. Then Khione had a talk with Iris about feeling useless and telling her to follow her heart. Iris left and Khione then told Mark to wake up and kissed him, and he woke up. Two weeks later, when Joe and Cecile were leaving Central City, Khione went to Joe's farewell party at the West House, along with the Team Flash. Then, she revealed to everyone that Iris is pregnant.[5]
With Chester's help, Mark and Khione became determined to find the nature of her powers. However, she was unable to create an ice blast, which angered Mark. In the end, the two reconciled and Khione caused snow to fall in S.T.A.R. Labs, further confusing them. Chester, who had sent samples to Carla Tannhauser, revealed oddities in her DNA, showing that; she was neither human nor meta-human, and when Khione asked what she was, no one had an answer.[6]
Meeting Carla Tannhauser
Khione eventually met Caitlin's mother; Carla Tannhauser; who didn't accept her as a replacement daughter; but as a friend and Khione was glad to have a strong female role model to look up to. She later returned to S.T.A.R. Labs.[7]
Khione went to S.T.A.R. Labs and stopped the InfectedJohn Diggle. She froze all the water on his body along with the other crew infected at the S.T.A.R. Labs facility.[8]
After Mark Blaine was used as a vessel for the Negative Speed Force, Kione was able to unlock and accept her true powers; by dispelling all the unnatural stuff from Mark Blaine's body and resurrecting him.[1]
After Cobalt Blue quelled the Negative Speed Force by accepting reality and giving up his hate, Khione was informed by Timeless Wells that it was time for her to ascend. Following Nora's birth, Khione bid everyone goodbye and left Caitlin's body, with Caitlin coming back in her place.[9]
Personality
Khione is very in tune with her being. She loves nature and doesn't take kindly to conflict. She is also very supportive of her new friends and has a great sense of humor.
Khione does have some regret for existing in place of her sisters, Caitlin Snow and Frost; Khione writes in her diary as if she's talking to Caitlin and Frost. Khione also hopes that Mark Blaine does well, as she feels sorry for derailing his hopes.

Deity physiology/Connection to the Natural World: When the Consciousness Resurrection Capsule malfunctioned while Caitlin Snow was trying to resurrect Frost, Khione was created and the cells in her body were altered. But; due to there being no traces of dark matter or cold fusion energy present in her cells and the presence of only one biometric signature; she is neither a normal human nor meta-human; making the origin of her powers unknown. As later revealed; by Khione, she appears to gain new powers every day. Khione was later revealed to be a "goddess".[6][1]
Empathic immunity: For reasons unknown, though likely due to her status as a goddess and/or only having one genetic marker, Khione is immune to Cecile Horton's empath powers, as Cecile stated that she was incapable of reading her emotions.[4]
Biology/life manipulation: Khione appears to have powers related to life, seeing as she revitalized Mark Blaine with a kiss and sensed Iris West-Allen's unborn baby, and was also able to detect Hartley Rathaway's pain. She has exhibited the ability to sense beings' biology such as heartbeats, life force, fungus etc. Also, when she awakened Mark, he exhibited a frosty breath,[5] although this ability is apparently not cryogenically based.[6]
Chlorokinesis: Khione, as she is connected to the natural world, she is able to sense the life force of plants. She was also capable of implanting, temporarily, plant cells inside human beings, in order to help them breathe and heal from toxic gas.[1]
Elemental manipulation: Khione has power over the elements of nature. As she has stated, she is connected to all of them. This grants her various elemental abilities. She is also capable of sensing elemental events all around the world, such as the activity of volcanos.[1]
Atmokinesis: Khione can uniquely control the weather. She was capable of making powerful wind through it.
Cryokinesis: Khione can manipulate ice and low temperatures around her. She was able to make it snow inside S.T.A.R. Labs.[6] This ability appears to be directly linked to Khione's emotions, as when she was sad, she turned water into solid ice. She was also able to freeze the water inside of the bodies of the members of Team Flash when they fell under Bloodwork’s control.[10]
Elemental transformation: Khione was able to turn herself into frosty gas and transfer herself inside of her/Caitlin's apartment using ice,[11] as well as transfer herself through the wind. She also stated to be able to become any element. She was capable of reducing Mark into soil and turning him back into a human.[1]
Abilities
Genius level-intellect/Scientific knowledge: Similar to Caitlin Snow's medical knowledge, despite lacking it herself, Khione is very knowledgeable in plants and the natural world in general. She redecorated S.T.A.R. Labs with plants[12] and uses her knowledge to help the team; she compared Allegra Garcia to a seed[12] and was inspired by the force of electricity to come up with a plan to free Barry Allen when he was captured by the Red Death.[13]
Khione's hair having blue streaks is most likely a mirroring of Frost adding white streaks to Caitlin's hair upon her first emergence as an effect of her cold powers.
Khione has none of Caitlin's nor Frost's memories due to the power malfunction that created her.
