Jackhammer is a member of the Demolition Team, a group working for Damien Darhk.[1]
Biography
At some point in time, Jack has become a member of the Demolition Team led by Rosie.[1]
In 2016 team worked for Damien Darhk trying and failing to destroy a building and killing trapped Quentin Lance. After that failed attempt they were traced to their hideout by Team Arrow but managed to escape, destroying the building and a laptop with information. During the attack, Jack was patrolling the building and stumbled upon Spartan whom he fought and defeated with relative ease.[1]
He then fought Spartan again on the occasion of team trying to destroy the building, where mayoral election debates between Oliver Queen and Ruvé Adams were held, receiving a direct order from Ruvé to kill Oliver. That time though, Spartan came prepared and used the magnetic gadgets to disarm Jackhammer and after a fight, Jack got knocked out.[1]
Abilities
- Peak human physical condition: Jack is a very strong individual who uses a sledgehammer as a melee weapon with relative ease.[1]
- Expert hand-to-hand combatant/Martial artist: Jack is an expert fighter who was able to best John Diggle in their first fight but was defeated in their second fight.[1]
- Explosives expert: Jack is an expert in explosives and can easily install the complicated bomb.[1]

Behind the scenes
- In the DC comics Jackhammer is also a member of The Demolition Team, who uses a jackhammer-like mechanical weapon while in the series he uses a sledgehammer.
- Jack's actor, Daniel Cudmore, later appears on fellow Arrowverse shows The Flash as William Lang/Gridlock in "Nora", in addition to providing the motion capture for Grodd in the DC's Legends of Tomorrow episode "Welcome to the Jungle".
