The Fatewatch is a smartwatch created by Lachesis.
History
After the Legends destroyed the Loom of Fate in Loomworld, Lachesis made the Fatewatch. This took advantage of the mortals' confusion after their true memories were restored and contradicted the free will removed when the Fates were in control. The watches were powered by Gideon, running a program telling everyone what to do; from what to eat to even when to propose marriage. People became so addicted to the commands of the Fatewatch that Lachesis could solicit what emotions she wanted them to exhibit; if the watch displayed "SHAME", people would boo and hiss.
The use of the Fatewatch was done when Gideon was temporarily deactivated.[1]
