"El Cura" ("The Priest") is a popular Mexican wrestler and film star. Due to an aberration in 1961 his success was briefly overshadowed by that of Konane.
Biography
El Cura was disgruntled luchador because of constant victories of Konane (as El Lobo) in the fights. When the Legends tracked Konane, El Cura wanted to challenge him on the fight. The announcer accepted the fight and the public began to buy the tickets for this challenge. When the Legends realized that Konane must lose the fight in order to preserve the history, they put him back in the Mexico so that Konane could be brought back in Time Bureau and be with Mona Wu, the latter who loves him. El Cura and Konane began the fight in the arena, but then Time Bureau agents (sent by Hank Heywood and in part Ava Sharpe) got to the place to catch Konane. The Legends stop them and Konane and El Cura also joined to help. After stopping them, El Cura realized that El Lobo is not always a bad person and he considered him as a respectable fighter, both declaring themselves as a winners in the fight.[1]
