This Daxamite general, took on the role of Rhea's second-in-command: likely holding a high position in the Daxamite army.

He was the one to supervise most official contact with Earth, and other functions such as overseeing a Daxamite marriage ceremony; once acting as Lena Luthor's escort, offering to hold her hand, but she declined. The guard stayed and oversaw the marriage, just seconds before it was interrupted.[1] The guard also patched a communication with Cat Grant, improvised from the D.E.O. below.
The general took a more active role during the Daxamite invasion in being Rhea's guard for the rite of Dakkam Ur. He stepped away, as did Mon-El, following the rules of Trial by Combat: he then attempted to attack inside CatCo, but was knocked out by Superman, who commented:[2]

Powers
- Daxamite physiology: Normally, like all Daxamites, this man's capabilities were no greater than a normal human of his physical conditioning. However, once charged by the energy of a yellow sun metabolizing into his body, he was able to perform various inhuman feats. this only happened for a while as he was exposed to a yellow sun for a very short time; he was usually stationed on board the Daxamite cruiser, despite being in clear view of the Earth's yellow Sun. Despite being outside for a while, this man only showed his powers for a very short time during the rite of Dakkam Ur. [More detail is explained below:]
- Extended longevity: The general's life span would be considerably longer than normal humans and likewise he ages much slower.
- Solar energy absorption: The Daxamites' physiology is similar to Kryptonians' physiology. Both have powers in common when exposed to a yellow sun.
- Super strength: Outside and exposed to the sun, he gains great strength; he is strong enough to fight Kryptonians such as Kal-El/Superman on equal terms.
- Super jumping/leaping: This man's strong legs have the ability to do incredibly high jumps and he can leap several stories in a single bound, and can also land from several stories without any damage or harm. For example, standing atop a skyscraper, he jumped from it to fly toward the CatCo building.
- Super speed: This man's unique physiology under a blue or yellow sun allows him to move at incredible speed.
- Invulnerability: His skin under a yellow sun cannot be penetrated by sharpened objects, chemicals or other toxins. He can suffer from great physical traumas (such as being thrown through a building, however, he will feel pain and sometimes weak (let alone being defenestrated by Superman).
- Accelerated healing factor: He was able to heal much faster than normal humans; from absorbing energy.
- Super strength: Outside and exposed to the sun, he gains great strength; he is strong enough to fight Kryptonians such as Kal-El/Superman on equal terms.
