Biography
During her reign, Cleopatra’s lover Julius Caesar was famously slain by Brutus, who never got the chance to see her in person.[1]
Legacy
In 2020, she was impersonated by Zari Tarazi, successfully fooling a resurrected Brutus.[1]

- In the real world, Cleopatra VII Philopator (69 – 10 or 12 August 30 BC) was the last active ruler of the Ptolemaic Kingdom of Egypt, nominally survived as pharaoh by her son Caesarion. As a member of the Ptolemaic dynasty, she was a descendant of its founder Ptolemy I Soter, a Macedonian Greek general and companion of Alexander the Great.
- Zari Tarazi impersonating Cleopatra may be a reference to Cleopatra VII naming herself "the new Isis" which in turn may reference Isis, who in the DC Comics is an alter-ego used by Zari's comic-book counterpart, Adrianna Tomaz.
