Dogs were a canine species common among society due to their generally friendly nature, making them good pets for families.

Biology

Dogs are four-legged carnivores who have been bred and trained by humans to live in human society as their companions. Descended from wolves, they have a strong pack mentality which can be extended to groups of humans, allowing dogs and humans to form easy mixed-species family and working units. They're typically much smaller than humans, but depending on the breed can easily be the size of an adult human.

History

During the zombie wars, Las Vengeance employed a beagle for their search and rescue efforts, using his keen nose to help find a woman's daughter.^[1]
