The Hammer is an uncommon melee weapon featured in Batman: Arkham Origins and Batman: Arkham City.
In Arkham Origins, it was similar to the pipe, except that it dealt more damage, distorted the player's view for longer, and took longer to swing. It was seen on the Final Offer, where one of the Penguin's Henchmen used it fight Batman after he interrupted his interrogation of Alberto Falcone.
In Arkham City, the hammer was the namesake and primary weapon of Mr. Hammer, the other Abramovici Twin. Mr. Hammer was shown to be very strong, as he was capable of wielding it with one hand.
