Sentries


Overview

Sentries refer to the sub-tower summons made by Vera that aid in a variety of ways. They can do massive amounts of damage, aid in stalling voids, and do lots of piercing damage. The stats of the sentries vary to each with some having low damage but high fire rate, or vise versa.

There are 6 different sentries in total that Vera can build.

Normal Sentries are mainly used as a early-game DPS that can deal with small and weak crowds of voids. They can only attack one void at a time and do not do well with larger hordes. They gain hidden detection once Vera is level 4, and they cannot hit Lead-type voids. They are built when Vera is placed and are no longer built after Vera reaches level 9.

Shotgun Sentries are made to deal with the larger crowds of voids that the Normal Sentry can not. With their high pierce, they can deal huge amounts of damage to many voids at once as it also boasts a high damage stat. However it also has a slow fire rate, and low range to counteract its high damage potential. They gain hidden detection once Vera is level 4, and they can hit Lead-type voids. They are built when Vera is level 3 and are no longer built after Vera reaches level 11.

Ice Sentries' main role is to stall voids to give time for other sentries, towers, or Vera herself to deal more damage. Although they also boast a very high damage stat, being the highest compared to any other sentry, they shoot extremely slow and also have bad range. They automatically have hidden detection and can hit Lead-type voids. They are built once Vera is level 7 and are no longer built after Vera reaches level 15.

Laser sentries are the main DPS of Vera with their extremely high fire rate and good damage. Unlike Normal Sentries, they can pierce many voids at once, letting them deal with crowds of voids while still having a high DPS against larger voids. They automatically gain hidden detection and can hit Lead-type enemies. They are built once Vera is level 9 and are no longer built after Vera reaches level 15.

Berserk Sentries have extremely high DPS along with having splash damage, like a Gunner. However, their use is limited on the early levels of Vera as they are only built once her ability is activated which has a 30 second cooldown itself while the sentry has a uptime of 5 seconds. They are however built normally once Vera reaches level 15, making their main weakness obsolete. They automatically gain hidden detection and can hit Lead-type enemies. They are built temporarily once Vera is level 8, and are built automatically when Vera reaches level 15.

Void Sentries are only built once Vera is level 15 with her ability. They however boast a extremely high DPS, even higher than Vera herself. They also can deal splash damage, like Berserk Sentries. Despite the name, there are no relations to Gunner or any Kitsutori mechanics. They automatically gain hidden detection and can hit Lead-type enemies.

  • The Laser Sentry is the only type of sentry to not use bullets to attack.
