Familiar is the fifth spell in the college of Summoning
Uses
- This spell summons a Familiar which will appear in the target tile to do the caster's bidding
- The Familiar does not use a casting slot
- The Familiar does not take a follower spot
- The Familiar does not use fatigue to sustain
Limitations
- The type and strength of the summoned beast scales with the caster's MA
- All Familiars have 20/20 Melee, but the usable level of it is capped by their Dexterity
- Some Familiars do not have Melee Training, as noted
- Only one Familiar can be summoned at a time
- Familiars cannot be disbanded or ordered to wait
- While Familiars do gain experience levels along with the caster, they do not have a leveling scheme with which to allocate their CPs; they do gain Health and Fatigue, however

Bonuses
- Anything that increases MA may increase the quality of the summons
- Casting Agility of Fire on a Familiar will increase both its DX and Melee level
- Passing the Mastery Test of The Master of Summoning in Tulla will reduce the casting and maintenance cost by half
