NMB48 Geinin! (NMB48 げいにん! NMB48 Geinin!^?) is a TV Show featuring the members of NMB48. It has it's own movie.

OWARAI CLUB

Usually pitting against each other in Season 1, the Owarai Clubs of the 1st School and 2nd School became accustomed to each other in Season 2. After the merging of the two Namba Jyogakuin Branches, the two Owarai Clubs were also merged and mainly used the 1st School's Owarai Clubroom.

Yamada Nana - Club President, was said to have a Suberu Devil floating around her.
Yamamoto Sayaka - Ace Striker, Kishino Rika's favorite member.
Watanabe Miyuki - Also known as Milky, Recruited in Season One, became Sayaka's partner, the Club's Relation Official as she frequently hangs out with other clubs as well.
Ogasawara Mayu - Loves Owarai, was Aina's partner before she transferred. Became Ripopo's partner, but had to leave prior to Season 3.
Fukumoto Aina - Favorite support of the Sports Club as substitute, tries to recruit her but loves Owarai more. Had to transfer due to parents' work.
Jo Eriko - Known as Jo, Junior Unofficial Member, admires Sayaka, became full member but had to study abroad. She later returns (Season 3) and surprises Sayaka and the others.
Kotani Riho - Nicknamed Ripopo, Junior Member, has great potential, can see ghosts, looks just like her mother.
Yokoyama Yui - Nicknamed Yuihan, Transfer Student; revealed to be the legendary owarai postcard writer named Kamagawa Omoro. Had to leave due to her father's work.
Yabushita Shu - was the shy member from Namba Jyogakuin 2nd School's Owarai Club. Transfers to the 1st School in Season 2, becoming one of it's members. She also has a Bishojo Club concurrent membership.
Kishino Rika - Graduate member, mistook Sayaka for someone else.
Ichikawa Miori - like Yuihan, transferred to Namba Jyogakuin from Tokyo. After seeing a SayaMilky Manzai, she decided to join the club.
Kinoshita Haruna - a transfer student from Doumyouji Koko, and was a member of Doumyouji's Owarai Club. Has an older sister that appeared with Kishino Rika in the JK-1 Posters that are posted around the clubroom. After meeting Shu, she was dragged to the Owarai Clubroom to help in the preparations for the NBT Contest. A natural tsukkomi, she refused to join at first, but was persuaded to help even for only the NBT Contest.

Kinoshita Momoka - President, likes Milky too much that she often hangs out in the 1st School's Owarai Clubroom instead of theirs just to get close to her.
Yamamoto Hitomi - the gag-loving member, Yuihan's favorite
Yabushita Shu - the shy member, later transfers to the Namba Jyogakuin 1st School
Ishizuka Akari - the brave member. Badmouths everyone from the 1st School, but is really frightened herself.

Kadowaki Kanako - Speaks in a 5-7-5 poem pattern. Likes fishing.

Faculty

Goto Terumoto - Owarai Club Adviser, Gym Teacher, and a close friend of Namba 2nd School's President.
Iwao Nozomu - the mysterious Janitor of Namba Jyogakuin. He was later revealed to be Namba 2nd School's President who loves to pose as a janitor.
Akashiya Sanma - Namba Jyogakuin's president. Appeared only on Season 2's final episode wielding a Golden Harisen.
Dr. Koyanagi - Namba Jyogakuin's School Doctor. Was constantly being mistaken for a boy.
Kendo Kobayashi - Namba Jyogakuin's Health and Fitness Teacher. He was only mentioned in Season 2's episode 8. In the two Movies, he was the Owarai Club's adviser.

Osanai Sayaka

Osanai Sayaka (小山内さやか Osanai Sayaka^?) - has striking resemblance to Yamamoto Sayaka, studies at Namba North School.

Family

Ripopo's Mother - The young-looking mother of Kotani Riho. Has striking resemblance to her daughter that the Owarai Club actually mistook her for Ripopo.

Owarai Guardian Deities

Suberu Devils - devils who can be summoned through the Book of Laughter. When summoned, makes the surrounding people cold and unfunny.
Owarai no Kami - the goddess of laughter, can be summoned through the Book of Laughter. When summoned, grants the surrounding people the feeling of becoming funnier.
Owarai Angels - the attendants of Owarai no Kami.
Shiroma Miru - the 50 year old spirit of the president of the Sewing Club. She has a striking resemblance to a relative in the present sharing the same name as her who is currently a member of the Flower Lovers Club.
Suberiland Fairies - fairies that were attracted to cold gags (suberu). Asks Nana for help to defeat the Ukeuke Daimao.
- Subereenu - older sister.
- Subereena - younger sister.
Ukeuke Daimao - Daimao of lavish laughter. Terrorizes Suberiland.
Modori Warashi - spirit that can reverse the effect of the Tenkousei Daruma. Two of them, called Mo and Wa, appeared to assist the afflicted SayaMilky combi.
Owarai Costume Fairies - Owarai no Kami's helpers based at the Owarai Clubroom. Their tasks involve the Owarai Club's costumes.
