The Cadence

The Cadence was a percussion group from Season 3 of America's Got Talent. It was eliminated in the Semifinals.

Background

The Cadence, a band from Springfield, Missouri, is a high-energy percussion experience originally started in Icon Nightclub. The group has performed for audiences around the country with highlighted performances in the MLB All Star Game - Fan Fest, as well as for corporate events for Anheuser-Busch, Schnuck's, and even for Tulsa Drillers Minor League Baseball games.

The energy of the Cadence is only matched by the group's flexibility in performing anywhere and everywhere, with full stage production or just a couple guys on buckets. 1

Audition

The Cadence's audition in Episode 307 consisted of drumming on items such as buckets and bins. Although Sharon Osbourne voted "No", David Hasselhoff and Piers Morgan both voted "Yes", sending the group to the Vegas Round.

Vegas Round

The Cadence was one of the Music Acts in the Vegas Round. The group's performance in Episode 308 was not fully televised, but it consisted of performing a drumming routine with large buckets. The Cadence's audition was strong enough for the judges to include it in the Top 60 shortlist and to later send it to the Top 40 Quarterfinals in Episode 309.
