Winfield

An outlaw with a strong desire to gain power, Winfield's actions may be excessive, but he has a strong sense of justice. Winfield just can't leave the scene of mistreatment and discrimination alone! The Gridamas invasion took the lives of his family and his beloved. In his quest for vengeance, Winfield headed toward Erin where a forbidden power was sealed--the Bracelet of the Covenant created by Hass Calinou. The Bracelet is said to grant absolute power to the one who wields it, but it's also believed to be the key to awakening a terrific evil. Despite the rumors, Winfield breaks the seal and obtains the Bracelet. His actions lead to Summerill regaining his power. With the Bracelet in tow, Winfield gains immense power, but is afflicted by the Linchpin's Malediction (Curse of Wedge); he becomes immortal, but suffers hellish pain when he calls upon its powers. This curse from Summerill could eventually turn him into a monster. He's told by Dyshana that the only way to break the curse is to replace the seal on Summerill, or destroy the Bracelet of the Covenant and repent for what he's done. Winfield decides to fight against Summerill to break his curse.
