| Age:18 Height: 172cm (5'7) Duran is the main character of the fourth generation, who moves to Enhambre after growing up in Fendias. His anger and pessimism are polar opposites to his father, Thoma. Duran has been told that he has no future, which may be the reason for his miscreant behavior. He always complains and ends up reluctantly following other people's opinions even though he has few of his own. His negative, unyielding personality often causes trouble with his allies, but as he meets various people on his journey, he begins to change. In the end, he accepts being a Spirit Vessel and decides to fight for Enhambre. | ||||||

Total Resistance: Like Duran's father Thoma and his grandfather Ladius, Duran also has a universal willpower representing his personality, this willpower is the "Total Resistance" willpower and it represents his reluctance to fulfill his mission as a Spirit Vessel. His reluctance stems from being told throughout his childhood that he MUST one day give up his life and soul to save the world and defeat the forces of darkness, while he feels no one should tell him what he must do with his life and when and how he must die.

Willpower
Willpowers are determined solely by the mother of the hero in question. Partially true, some willpowers are acquired only if specific brides are in your hero's bloodline, Qigong is an example of this it's only acquired if Elaine and/or Noah are part of Duran's and Rex's ancestry.
Lavinia
- Resolve : Increases the SP gained each turn.
- Total Resistance : Increases resistance to all status ailments.
- Parry (if Class Change before lv 52) : Activated at less than 25% of max HP. Evades all physical attacks except -absolute hit- attacks.
- Unleash All (if Class Change before lv 54) : Activated at less than 25% of max HP. Substantially increases physical damange, defense, magic damage, and magic defense.
- Mikiri (if Class Change after lv 52) : Blocks counter attacks.
- Unleash Magic (if Class Change after lv 54) : Activated at less than 25% of max HP. Substantially Increases magic damage, and magic defence.
Faina
- Total Resistance : Increases resistance to all status ailments.
- Magic Barrier : Activates when less than 25% of max HP. Evades all magic except -absolute hit- magic.
- Critical Break (if Class Change before lv 52) : Activated with 200 SP or more. Increase magic damage.
- Unleash All (if Class Change before lv 54) : Activated at less than 25% of max HP. Substantially increases physical damange, defense, magic damage, and magic defense.
- Anticipation (if Class Change after lv 52): Blocks counterattacks.
- Block Magic (if Class Change before lv 52) (I believe that you can only get "Critical Break" or "Block Magic" not both as my Duran got "Critical Break" and "Unleash All", even though he changed class at level 50 so if you go by these listings Duran should get both "Critical Break" and "Block Magic" at level 52 if he changes classes as soon as he hits level 51.
- Unleash Magic (Class Change after lvl 54) : Activated at less than 25% of max HP. Increases Magic damage and Magic defense.
However as I said once he reached 52 he only got "Critical Break" so it is either pre-determined which willpower he gets based on your bride line or it's 50/50 as to which he gets.) I have posted a help/guide for advanced willpower acquisition covering this problem under Rex's willpowers for Ryuryu, also the guide works for Noah's willpowers below. - Accuracy (if Class Change before lv 52) : Activated after accumulating more than 100 SP. Every physical attack will hit the enemy.
- Unleash All (if Class Change before lv 54) : Activated at less than 25% of max HP. Substantially increases physical damange, defense, magic damage, and magic defense.
- Guard (if Class Change after lv 52) : Activated after accumulating more than 150 SP. Increases defense.
- Desperate Strength (if Class Change after lv 54) : Activated at less than 25% of max HP. Increases physical damage and defense.
- Anticipation (If Class Change After lv 52) Blocks all counter attack*
