After the commercial, the episode still froze, and it went to an episode of Megalobox that played twice, once to fill the remaining 15 minutes Sword Art Online had, and another in its normal timeslot. The episode was re-aired the following week as an apology for the incomplete broadcast.

The prank was shown on TV, and on the website, with the creator Maxime Simonet answering questions on the livestream. The prank also aired on the Canada network Action, and was the second-to-last program to air before the network launched a 24/7 Adult Swim channel at 6:00am.
