"The Heist" is the tenth episode of the Disney Channel Original series American Dragon: Jake Long.
Summary
Plot
Leprechauns are playing around, one of Pandarus's troll henchmen steals their pot of gold. One of the Leprechauns goes to Jake and Grandpa and tells them about the stolen pot of gold. They find out that the Leprechauns' pot of gold doesn't bring them luck but it is almost their life. Trixie and Spud join in to help them take back the pot of gold. They make a strategic plan to take back the gold, they sneak into Pandarus's hotel inside a guitar case, and Trixie and Spud disguise themselves as singers. When Jake and Fu Dog try to open the safe they can not because they need a finger print, so Jake uses Fu Dog's magic fur that has Pandarus's hand print. When they go in Jake just goes in freely without touching the security lights, Grandpa gets worried because he is keeping a look at them, Jake does find but forgets one thing: his tail. It touches the security lights which sets off the alarm. Jake finds himself fighting a giant spider, the Kumo. Meanwhile, Trixie and Spud have to cook to wait for Jake and Fu Dog. Jake traps the Kumo and they go up, they hide in a cartridge but forget that Pandarus is outside. Pandarus takes the gold. Before his henchman can do anything to them, Grandpa comes to the rescue in his dragon form, driving up to them in his van. When he opens the door, his tail comes out, wraps up Jake and the gang and pulls them inside. His coils squeeze them tight as he ironically tells them to wear their seat belts, and he drives away with them.
In the park, they are thinking of a new strategy, but Jake makes Spud open the case and the gold is there. Jake reveals he recalled what Grandpa told him in chess which is to stay ahead of your opponents as it turns out he took and put the gold in the case before they escaped. Spud questions what Pandarus has since they have the gold. It goes back to the hotel where Pandarus opens the pot and sees stew in there. The episode ends with him angrily firing his security for eating the stew and protesting on losing his wealth.
