Queen Liliana[1] is the mother of one family of Strigoi, vampires which prey on dragons. She and three of her sons arrived in New York to kill the American Dragon, but mistook Jonathan Long for Jake. They stalked Jonathan until Jake was able to use Sun Magic to destroy them.
It is unclear how many Strigoi exist in the world.
