Description
When a zombie or animal is killed its body will decompose into a mesh of bloody flesh and gore. Zombie gore has 2 stages, in the first one the zombie corpse is decomposed to half of the zombie's body with its ribs showing and leaking blood as well as some bones lying around. In its second stage, all the flesh decomposes and it turns into half of a blood-covered skeleton. After that, if the corpse hasn't been cleaned up, it will decompose till there's nothing left. Animal gore has only 1 stage. Its body decomposes into a mesh of guts and organs within a rib cage, in this case if the gore block is not removed it will attract Screamers.
Gore will biodegrade and therefore vanish automatically after a longer time.
Notes
- As of Alpha 13, Gore has been overhauled. Bodies used to decompose into a third stage which was a big bloody block that would stack up and form little mountains of decomposed gore that allowed zombies to climb over player defenses easier. This idea and code of gore blocks stacking so that zombies could climb over walls was taken from the most popular server at the time called Canadian Last Stand ran by the owner Novahaze.
