Background and Release
On Jan 25, 2016 Cube Entertainment released an official statement confirming their next comeback, to stay with the girl crush concept from their last comeback "Crazy".[1] On Jan 20, 4Minute released their first teaser for their extended play Act. 7. It announced that the comeback date was Feb 1, 2016, at noon KST. On Jan 25, teaser photos were released along with the title track being "Hate".[2]
